Uber, Lyft, Gett & Co are mobility services, today. They are an „operating system“ for mobility and provide the business model, infrastructure, organization and marketing for professionals to deliver a service, on-demand.
Why stop at driving people around? There is more opportunities to scale this operating system. Such as domestic services at the home, or professional services for SMEs. Even child care or care for the elderly comes to mind.
The ridesharing apps of today are essentially dispatching services and skills.
